Live music at your wedding is a great way to create ambiance and really gets the crowd dancing. The Sera-Jane Band will adjust their set according to their audience’s response and there’s no comparison to the vibe you get from a live band compared to pre-recorded music.
When you book the “Sera-Jane Band” you are getting;

· Up to 5 hours at the reception (Up to 4 x 45 minute sets)
· State of the art PA system set up and sound checked before guest arrival
· Your bridal waltz performed live by us
· Background music between sets
· Use of PA system and microphones for speeches
· Regular contact between you and the venue to ensure the event runs smoothly

Entry
As the newly-weds make their entrance, or the early stages of the reception, you might not want to rock it up too much, and a smaller selection of the musicians can play some chilled acoustic music in the background, to keep the room buzzing. This is a really important way to set the mood for the night, without over-doing it – perfect music for sipping cocktails!
Reception
Of course after dinner and the formalities, if you are looking to get everyone straight onto the dance floor then you really need a serious band. This is where the “Sera-Jane Band” have earned their reputation – playing music for the dance floor! In addition, a DJ service is provided during dinner to keep the party going during the moments when you don’t want live music. You also get a unique mix of styles throughout the night, from old-school rock, gypsy, swing, 80′s pop, classic rock and top 40 etc., all individually tailored to meet the tastes of you and your guests.
With four huge sets of music, we love to start the night off with a laid back easy listening set to accompany pre-dinner drinks before filling the dance floor with uptempo and rocky dance sets. Our repertoire spans many genres from current pop hits and old classics, Rock, Country.
